Can I backdate my car insurance and road tax renewal?

This happens when your car insurance and road tax have expired for some time.
In fact, you are not allowed to backdate your insurance and road tax. Here’s an example you may refer to:
Case 1
Mr. X’s car insurance and road tax expired on 1/11/09. Today is already 7/11/09 and he decided to renew his insurance and road tax. He wishes to backdate renew his insurance and road tax from 2/11/09.
It is impossible to cover your vehicle with the period of cover that is already past. By the way, it’s not fair for owners to pay to protect the past, and impossible. Thus, the period of cover must always start from today or future.
As for Mr. X’s case. He should start his renewal on 7/11/09.
If he had an accident or encountered theft during this week time with no insurance coverage, it would be at his total responsibility for damage or loss of his vehicle.

Can I purchase my car insurance from 2 or more insurance companies?

Unfortunately, there is a restriction for insureds to purchase or renew with more than 1 insurance company. Some might insure with 2 or more insurance companies, so that they can profit from the insurance companies. However, this is not allowed.
It is a breach of a clause in the agreement that says that the insured must not be insured by more than one insurance provider. Insurance companies have the right of not compensating when you are making a claim, or the total claim amount will be split among the insurance providers accordingly.
You must remember that you must not profit from insurance claims.

Can I purchase third party coverage if vehicle is still under hire & purchase (car loan) service?

Unfortunately, the answer is NO. You must purchase Comprehensive coverage plan for your vehicle when your vehicle is still under hire & purchase service by any financial institutes.
The reason is: when your vehicle is under hire & purchase service, the financial institute (bank or credit company) own the vehicle and not you. Thus, in order to protect the vehicle, it is compulsory to purchase the full comprehensive coverage plan until you have fully paid off or settled the hire & purchase service. Till then, you may decide to purchase either comprehensive or third party coverage plan on your own preference.

The difference between comprehensive and third party coverage is vast. While you are deciding which coverage you should opt for, there are a few things you may need to consider.
1) Age of your vehicle
2) Value of your vehicle
3) Is your vehicle under hire & purchase (car loan) service?
Usually, owners will opt for third party coverage when their vehicles are old, have low value and finished hire & purchase service.
* If your vehicle is still under hire & purchase (car loan) service, it’s compulsory to purchase COMPREHENSIVE coverage only.
However, it’s wise to have comprehensive coverage.

JPJ or PDRM system down – Renew your insurance and road tax earlier

It is always not advisable to renew your car insurance and road tax the Malaysian preferred way, the last minute way. You may think that you will definitely get them done even at the very last minute. Unfortunately, you must always remember this, “Things tend to break down when you need them the most. ”
Case 1:
Mr. A renews his car insurance and road tax on the same day of his car insurance and road tax expiry. Everything goes fine until when he waits for his road tax. He is informed that he has a traffic summon to be settled before he can have his road tax renewal done. Unfortunately, the PDRM (traffic police) system has been down for quite some time and he is unable to settle his summon. Thus, he could not drive his vehicle for the entire week, and till the day where he is able to pay the summon. The JPJ system is down for some unknown reasons, and he has to wait again till the system is back online in order to renew his road tax.
Imagine the inconvenience Mr. A experiences during the waiting period.
It is always good to get things done before it gets urgent. It helps save your unnecessary troubles and problems.

Advice on unnotified cancellation of your insurance / takaful policy

It is a fact that car insurance or Takaful has to be done in order to renew road tax. However, when you receive your insurance E-Covernote and road tax, you are advised to contact your selected insurance company to ensure your vehicle is being insured.
Case 1:
Mr. A assigned a proxy and made payment to renew car insurance and road tax. He received an insurance E-Covernote and road tax. A year later when his car insurance and road tax are expiring, he called to the insurance company to check his accumulated NCD and he was told that his insurance was canceled a year ago on the same day he received the road tax . And he knew nothing about it.
Mr. A was fortunate enough that his vehicle was not stolen or did not get into an accident during the entire year. If he were involved in an accident or theft, he would suffer a relatively large sum of loss.
Finally, Mr. A knew that the proxy was actually cheating and reported to insurance company.
Readers are advised to recheck the status of car insurance with your insurance company to ensure your car insurance coverage plan is active even if you receive E-Covernote or Policy.

Yes, you may still renew your car insurance or Takaful and road tax one or two days before expiry date or holiday. You may simply log on to www.EasyRenew.com.my to perform your renewal and you will receive insurance and road tax within half a working day(Klang Valley) or next working day (Nationwide) without submitting your car registration card.
However, it is not advisable to renew your car insurance and road tax at very last minute.

Not all space on your blog is created equal. How much you understand about your blog’s real estate will ultimately influence the results you get.
That being said, which parts of your blog are more valuable? Where should you put your main money-making ad, link or Aweber optin form?
I’ve broken down a typical 3-column blog layout (like the one we use here) into a few profitable areas:
Content Area – No matter which type of layout you use, the content area is by far the more valuable spot. People visit your blog to read content, not to look at your ads or design. Sure, a jaw-dropping design is cool the first time, but it will not get people to stick. Ads, links and optin forms within your content is the most valuable, as it is guaranteed to reach the eyeball of your visitor. It’s even more effective if your ads are tightly related to the content itself.
Left Navigation – If your blog has a left-column navigation (like ours), then this is the second most valuable spot. People in most countries read from left to right, and on the way to your content their eyeballs have to pay at least some attention to the navigation area.
Right Navigation – Unlike the left navigation, your visitors don’t have to pay attention to the anything after the actual content area. Since they don’t have to, they rarely will. People are quite accustomed to grid-based website layouts and they know (almost instinctively) where to look for content, and what to ignore.
Header Area – Although the header area comes before everything else, it’s too detached from the actual content, which makes it the second least valuable spot on your blog. I will almost never pay an advertiser for placing banner ads in the header area. The more frequent someone visits your blog, the most invisible the header area gets.
Footer Area – It’s almost worthless to even consider the footer area as a possible most maker. Detached from content and navigation, and too far from eyeballs, the footer is best left for things than don’t really require attention.
Yeah i know; your results may be different. However, in most cases this simple grid-based logic works well. The real question though, is what should you do with this information?
If you want to squeeze more money from your blog, you need to reorganize certain elements to work for you, instead of against you. Here are a few ideas:
In-Content Ads – If you’re selling banner ads on your blog, create a spot in the content area itself. Savvy advertisers are willing to pay much more for an in-content ad, and you can easily increase your advertising dollars overnight.
Affiliate Links vs Affiliate Banners – If you’re promoting an affiliate product, forget banner ads. It’s much better to use affiliate links weaved into the content. Plus, having less ads frees up important real estate for other purposes.
Reorganize Your Navigation – Are your navigation links eating up valuable advertising space? Move them away to non-profitable areas like the right sidebar, header of footer so you can make more money from the profitable ones.
Footer Dump – Anything else that your readers don’t really need, but which is essential for your blog (privacy policy, disclaimers etc), has to be moved to the footer. The footer area is the universal dumping ground for all non-profitable stuff.
The next time you decided to get a new theme for your blog, ask yourself an important question- “What do I want to achieve with my blog?”
Always put function above form. Understand the main objective of your blog.
Is it to communicate your ideas? Then move your content to the left, followed by navigation, and use minimal ads. Is your objective to build a mailing list or get more subscribers? Then put your optin form in the profitable areas instead of hiding it beneath meaningless ad

2.Apology for Unjust Behavior
Dear
I recently discovered that I have made a huge mistake regarding the incident that occurred between the two of us a while back. I understand now how curtly I spoke to you, and how unjustly I treated you only to find out later that it was no fault of yours at all.
My actions were unwarranted and unjust. The only beneficial outcome of this is that I have learned a valuable lesson throughout this unpleasant ordeal. As and from now I will be conducting more thorough investigations before I go flying off the handle and wrongly accusing people.
I realize that this may cause a temporary ill-feeling, which I do understand, but at the same time, I hope that we are able to remind ourselves of the saying "let bygones, be bygones"
